Recently, we have added new products to our Lite Aqua range: Grey Channel and the Galvanised Edge Rail. Here, we will give you an introduction to these new additions, what they are used for and what they can pair with amongst the range.
Grey Channel
The grey channel itself is made from polyethene making it suitable for urban projects with the robust exterior and lightweight material, this channel does not need any heavy weightlifting machinery or high labour costs. Its enhanced protection means that no water vapour can pass through it.
It has a class loading of A15, available depths of 55mm and 92mm and is compatible with Composite Mesh Grating. This grating offers durability and strength, resisting corrosion for outdoor use. The flexibility and structural integrity makes it ideal for high traffic areas like sidewalks and drainage systems.
It has many lite aqua accessories, which are sold separately to the channel, which complete the system. This includes end caps, corner units (with matching grating tops to the channel) and end cap outlets.
Galvanised Edge Rail
This new product enhances the functionality and strength of the Lite Aqua channels. It is durable for harsh weather conditions and provides a corrosion – resistant barrier. It has a safe heel feature and is compatible with the Composite Slotted Grating.
It has a class loading of A15, B125, C250 and is available in depths 55mm and 92mm.
Similar to the grey channel, it has many accessories to complete the system including end caps, outlets, corner units and in addition sump units (all sold separately).
These new additions further extend the possibilities within our Lite Aqua range and allow opportunities in drainage systems which have not been available before!
