Let the games begin! See how our linear drainage can be used in the Olympic games!

In honour of the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics this summer, we want to highlight our sports range of linear drainage and explore how it can be applicable to the world-famous sports event. To do this, we are going to select 3 channels out of our range and match it to one of the sporting events seen in this year’s Olympic games!

Our first Channel is the 125 A/B also known as the NW125 slotted channel!

• This channel is developed for the increasing of number of arenas with level playing fields.

The sporting event we have chosen to match this channel is the Women’s 5000m race! The running track of the arena is a significant part of the race, which creates the link between the NW125.

Our second channel of the games is… Tray Channels!

• Tray channels are a sensible alternative for the drainage of sports facilities with unbound surfaces.

The event to match this is the women’s long jump, which of course, coincides with the sand pit.

Our third and final channel has a clue in the title for the type of sporting facility it pairs with… it’s the NW 100 Synthetic Turf Channel!

• This channel is the optimal solution for the drainage of all modern artificial turf systems. The sport event connecting the channel to its surface is football! With its artificial turf used on the pitch, there is a direct link to the sport and the NW 100 channel.
