DHL logistics yard is one of the biggest logistics specialist offering freight transportation, supply chain, warehousing, and distribution to an extensive range of global customers. The existing drainage system at the site in Speke had collapsed and needed replacing. It needed to be an integrated, heavy duty grating system and Polycon’s Moneco 200 was the obvious choice. The monolithic system meant that there would be no movement of grating, which was what had led to the collapse of the previous system.
It was essential the project was completed the week before Christmas to allow DHL to service their customers over the busy Christmas period. Polycon’s extensive stock range allowed delivery to be made within 48 hours of the order being placed.
